Introduction.
Battle Royales are now the most popular game modes in the FPS genre and therefore, it should come as no surprise that the makers of Call of Duty wanted a piece of the cake. However, this is not the only thing that Infinity Ward did when it launched Call of Duty: Warzone as a free-to-play title on all platforms.
Call of Duty: Warzone is now one of the world’s biggest games and we think it’s safe to say that it has led millions of people to purchase the full version of the game. The only downside to playing the free version of Call of Duty: Warzone is that you are getting access to a limited number of modes but luckily, this is going to change soon.
Infinity Ward Confirms New Modes
The folks at Infinity Ward did an interview with GamerGen and they used it as an opportunity to confirm that a bunch of free-to-play modes are scheduled to arrive when Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 4 launches.
“On the gameplay stuff I can tell you, there you will be definitely new modes. We’re constantly working on modes. We want to add new spice to the game,” said Infinity Ward in the interview.
New Weapons for the Battle Royale Mode
To make things even better, Infinity Ward also announced that the Battle Royale mode will get a bunch of new loot once Season 4 goes live. The game will feature “new weapons, field upgrades, and loot,” added the developers.
