CDPR Accidentally “Leaks” Witcher 4 in Investor Call

Witcher 4

Even though CD Projekt RED has just released Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and consoles, it looks like the game publisher is already working on its next big title. We are talking about the much anticipated Witcher 4. This information was accidentally leaked during CDPR’s latest conference with investors. You can check it out by clicking here.

CDPR CEO Acknowledges Rocky Launch for Cyberpunk 2077

The call with the investors started with CDPR’s CEO taking all responsibility for Cyberpunk 2077’s rocky launch on last-gen consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4). The CEO said that the game will receive lots of patches to fix the bug fixes and improve the gameplay experience without players encountering a single game crash. That’s not all. The CEO also reminded everyone that CDPR will give all Xbox One and PlayStation 4 a free upgrade for the next-gen version of the game.

Witcher 4 is Coming Soon

Right when the conference call was ending, one of the investors asked CDRP directly about Witcher 4. He said the following “I know you haven’t officially announced it, but how is work on Witcher 4 doing and how many people are allocated to the team?”. As you can imagine, the CEO and other people who are in charge of the games that CDPR publishes were not expecting this question. They didn’t want to either confirm or deny anything that the investor asked.

High Expectations

Considering that Witcher 3 is regarded as one of the best RPG games ever made, winning multiple titles (including the Game of the Year Award), we think it’s safe to say that Witcher 4 has some big shoes to fill. Let’s hope CDPR gets it right once again, especially since Netflix has increased the popularity of the game series with The Witcher TV show.
