It’s been a handful of years since Google dropped the Nexus lineup and decided to venture into the smartphone industry by itself. The Android parent is adding the finishing touches to Google Pixel 5 which is one of the industry’s most highly anticipated smartphones. Fortunately for us and other Android fans, the official release date for Pixel 5 has been leaked.
Google Pixel 5 Release Date Leak
An internal document was recently spotted by Teckcheck and it reveals that the telecoms carrier Vodafone is getting ready to stock its shelves with Pixel 5 on September 25th. This is quite surprising because no one was expecting that Google’s next-gen flagship smartphone will arrive in only a couple of weeks.
We want to mention that the leaked internal document refers to Vodafone’s stores in Germany. There is no mention of the US or other European cities, but we think it’s safe to say that Pixel 5 will have a global release. With that said, let’s go ahead and take a look at the specs that Pixel 5 offers.
Highlight Specs and Price
Taking into consideration that Pixel 5 will hold the title of being a flagship smartphone, then it should come as no surprise that Google is equipping the device with some of the best hardware parts available on the market. Pixel 5 will be priced at around $699 and it will ship with a display that measures in at 6.67-inches.
Pixel 5 will be fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery that is supposedly paired with Fast Charge technology. To make things even more impressive, Pixel 5 will ship with a four-camera setup mounted on the rear side. The camera setup is also going to use Google’s double pixel technology to help users take amazing photos, even in low light conditions.
