How to Play Call of Duty Vanguard Offline (All Modes!)

Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1 Promo Picture

Call of Duty has taken on many challenges and giving players the chance to fight in World War II is one of the toughest ones. Even though people were not sure that Call of Duty: Vanguard will be good due to the timeline it takes place in, the game is a massive success. One of the key reasons is because it can be played offline.

Call of Duty: Vanguard can be played offline. Players don’t need an internet connection to enjoy the amazing campaign that Vanguard offers. Popular Vanguard modes like Domination and Team Deathmatch can also be played offline by enabling bots and LAN features. It’s important to mention that Call of Duty: Vanguard can only be played offline on console and not on PC. The PC counter-part of Vanguard is tied to Blizzard’s Battlenet which does not work without an active internet connection.

If you love playing Call of Duty games but don’t like the fast-paced action of the PvP modes, playing Vanguard offline is the best thing you can do. Keep reading to find out how it works.

How to Play Call of Duty Vanguard Offline

Call of Duty fans can play the latest Vanguard title offline through the solo campaign. The campaign is available offline on Xbox and PlayStation but unfortunately, it doesn’t on PC. The reason behind this is that Vanguard can be played exclusively via Battlenet on PC and the application doesn’t work without a stable internet connection.

Most people make the mistake of thinking that they can only enjoy Call of Duty offline by playing the campaign. This isn’t the case for Vanguard! The game allows players to enjoy popular games modes like Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch, and Domination, for example, in the LAN mode. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that players need to come with 16 other friends to help fill the lobby.

Can You Play Call of Duty Vanguard with Bots?

Call of Duty Vanguard allows players to add botts in 10 vs 10 games. So, players who are running solo will be accompanied by 9 bots. The cool thing about Vanguard bots in offline is the fact that players can choose from the following difficulties: Recruit, Regular, Hardened, and Veteran. Some players can use Vanguard offline to improve their skills and prepare themselves for online play where they can impress their friends.

What Game Modes are Available in Vanguard Offline?

While most Call of Duty games allow players to enjoy the campaign offline, it can get pretty boring after completing it a couple of times. Luckily, this is not the case for Vanguard. The game supports the following modes in offline play: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, Free-for-All, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Patrol.

Personally, I love playing Domination in Vanguard offline. Unlike playing online with other people, the bots will focus the objectives. They will know that capping point A is more important than increasing their stats by getting frags and assists.
