It’s been one week since Fortnite disappeared from the App Store and thanks to this, people have started selling iPhones with Fortnite installed on them for thousands of dollars. Fortunately, you don’t have to pay a premium to get access to your favorite mobile game. If you previously installed Fortnite on your smartphone and then deleted it, you should be pleased to know that there is a method to reinstall it. With that said, today we are going to show you how to reinstall Fortnite on iOS.
How to Reinstall Fortnite on iOS
Follow the steps below to reinstall Fortnite on your iPhone or iPad:
- Head over to the My Purchases section in the App Store (you can do this by clicking on your avatar);
- Tap on Purchased and then My Purchased;
- A list with all the apps and mobile games that you have ever downloaded will pop up;
- Search for Fortnite;
- Now, simply tap on the download button located next to Fortnite’s icon.
We also want to mention that this trick also works if a member of your Apple Family Sharing plan has the game listed in their My Purchases Settings.
Can You Install Fortnite on iOS Without Having the Game Listed in the My Purchased Section?
Unfortunately, the only way to access Fortnite on iOS is if you have previously installed it. Let’s hope that Epic Games and Apple come to terms in the upcoming future so that the highly popular game is listed once again on the App Store.
Final Words
Epic Games announced that Fortnite’s next season (Chapter 2 Season 4) is scheduled to go live on August 27th. On the downside of things, the update is not going to roll out on the iOS version of the game. The reason behind this is that Apple cut Epic Games off from iOS and Mac development tools.
