Samsung is scheduled to reveal the much-anticipated Galaxy S21 in only two days and the leaks have started pouring. First, it was the surprisingly low price tag of the smartphone. The leak came from the South Korean Yonhap News Agency. Earlier today, it was leaked that the next-gen flagship smartphone will use Qualcomm’s improved fingerprint scanner. Now, a brand-new press render leaked that showcases where the S Pen will be located on Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Galaxy S21 Ultra Leak
The latest Galaxy S21 Ultra leak comes from none other than Roland Quandt, who is a reputable leakster that manages to stay one step ahead of the tech industry. The leak shows us a press render of the upcoming smartphone that reveals where the new S Pen will be located. The stylus will now be much easier to carry and access.
From the looks of it, Samsung is planning to bundle the next-gen flagship smartphone with a special case that protects the device at all times and also provides easily accessible storage space for the S Pen. On the downside of things, we do not know if the case will cost extra or if it will be included in the price of the smartphone.
Improved Fingerprint Reader
As previously mentioned, Qualcomm has revealed a new fingerprint scanner technology. Qualcomm has branded the sensor as “3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2” and it offers a 77% larger fingerprint reader area. ThAt’s not all. The larger fingerprint area makes it possible for the scanner to capture 1.7x more biometric data and to be 50% faster. This means that the next-generation of Samsung smartphones will unlock in an instant.
Galaxy S21 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the best smartphones that Samsung has ever released. Nonetheless, the launch date is just around the corner and we will soon find out all the improvements and hardware specs that it offers.
