Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is designed to be a multiplayer game that is played online in a 4-man co-op mode. Fortunately, the game can also be played solo.

Vermintide 2 can be played solo. The player can choose the character they like the most (Markus Kruber, Bardin Goreksson, Sienna Fuegonasus, Victor Saltzpyre, or Kerillian) and three bots will take the roles of the remaining characters. The party will always be full and no matter the game difficulty that the player chooses (recruit, veteran, champion, legend), the bots will scale and help the player complete even the most challenging missions.
